Because we are all different, yoga is not a "one size fits all" practice. Beginners need to learn where to put their hands and feet and how to coordinate breath with movement. Someone coming back from injury or illness need a specific plan to support the transition to greater stages of wellness. A student who's  burned out from a stressful schedule and in the throes of perimenopause will thrive on one plan and a competitive weight-lifter in his prime who wants to cross-train will need another plan.  Private yoga gives you the time and space to work with your specific needs, goals and life stages. We begin exactly where you are and progress at your pace. You get to ask questions and receive real-time feedback. If you're just beginning, want to deepen your current practice, or have a specific goal in mind, private yoga can provide deep support, foundation and clarity to meet your needs.

Group classes are small, so you receive personalized attention.  My style is inclusive, and I focus on uplifting everyone.  My background includes ashtanga, vini yoga, anusara, yoga nidra, slow flow, powerful flow, and trauma-sensitive practices.  Life experience has taught me to offer variety, options, and invitations.  Expect a live tune or two and a laugh!

This floor-based class mobilizes joints, lengthens muscles and relaxes the nervous system. The pace is slow and gentle. Great for those needing to chill, slow down, cross-train vigorous exercise, or begin yoga or an exercise program.

This class is great for those who like more intensity but need to care for their joints and balance muscles groups. We will end with a long relaxation (savasana).
